How does WC-Sisto® work?
In order to allow for the installation of various sizes of WC seat hinge fixation screws, WC bowls are manufactured with seat fixation openings, which are far bigger in diameter than the WC seat fixation screws (most WC seat fixations come with 6 mm or 8 mm screws (dia). This leads to the screws coming loose quickly and the WC seat no longer being held in position, allowing it to slide back and forth and sideways. This is especially true under "somewhat heavy conditions" and in high-traffic commercial areas (e.g., public toilets at airports and train stations, in shopping centers, hotels, the hospitality industry and in office buildings). But also in the health and care sector (e.g., in hospitals, nursing homes, and care facilities), WC-Sisto® reduces the potential danger of injury caused by loose WC seats.
WC-Sisto® ensures a centered placement of the fastening screws. By filling the diameter of the toilet’s guide holes, WC-Sisto® achieves very high and long-lasting stability.
WC-Sisto® is the simple, quick, and extremely effective permanent solution that makes constant and annoying retightening of the fastening screws unnecessary. When you purchase this item, you will receive a 2-piece WC seat fastening set WC-Sisto® for 8mm fastening screws.
Installation Instruction
The WC-Sisto® installation is simple and done within minutes.
- Dismantle the toilet seat by following the instructions of the sanitaryware and/or toilet seat manufacturer.
- Now measure the length/depth of the guide openings in the toilet bowl, which are used to attach the toilet seat.
- If necessary, shorten the WC-Sisto® to the measured length/depth. The WC-Sisto® must not protrude above or below! Only by filling in the diameter of the guide openings in the toilet bowlwith WC-Sisto® can you achieve the optimal and secure fastening of the toilet seat.
- Now slide the matching WC-Sisto® onto the fasteing screws on the toilet seat.
- Finally, by following the instructions of the sanitaryware and/or toilet seat manufacturer, put the toilet seat back onto the toilet bowl and tighten the screws.
Thanks to the easy installation of the WC-Sisto® ,the toilet seat is now permanently tight and no longer wobbles or slips.
